Anisha Patel, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of General Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and provides primary and acute care to pediatric patients at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco. Dr. Patel’s research interests include developing and evaluating interventions and policies to prevent childhood obesity. She is widely recognized for her research examining drinking water access in school settings, a topic on which she has published widely.
